Join us Thursday, April 10th, 2025 for the Women’s Club at UCF 2025 Spring Luncheon. Enjoy the company of good friends, mingle with other members, and participate in fun filled agenda for the meeting.

Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  (Doors open at 11:00 am – Lunch at 11:30 am)

UCF Celebrates the Arts

UCF Celebrates the Arts is April 1-13 at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Orlando. Nearly forty magnificent productions are offered by UCF students and faculty including dance, drama, comedy and immersive activities. Here are just a few of the highlights:

  • Fiddler on the Roof – the iconic musical!
  • Flying Horse Big Band Swings: Bassie and Ellington
  • UCF Opera Presents Cendrillon
  • UCF Symphony Orchestra: Earth and Stars
  • Tribute to Maestro Pablo Casals
  • Mozart’s Requiem: A Journey Through Mortality and Hope!
  • A Gershwin Celebration
  • A.I. Cabaret: Late Night with Artificial Intelligence
  • And much, much more!!

Many more fantastic performances are found in the festival schedule! Also, there will be outstanding visual arts exhibits throughout the Dr. Phillips Center including the MFA Studio Art and Design Showcase., UCF Theater Costumes, Our (Central FL Stories), and several other curated works of the School of Arts and Design. These are just a few highlights from a long list of intriguing exhibits!

Art in Bloom

Art in Bloom is at the Orlando Museum of Art from April 4-6.  We will be attending Friday, April 4, meeting in the lobby at 10:00 am.  There is a cafe set up in the museum for enjoying lunch after enjoying the art.  Please RSVP to Susan Gregory at shgregory1955@att.net by Wednesday, April 2 to let me know you’re coming.  Tickets are on sale  for this event on the website.  There is a $7 parking fee.  Art in Bloom – Orlando Museum of Art

Winter Park Paint Out

Winter Park Paint Out – The Winter Park Paint Out from April 20-26.  On Thursday, April 24 at 10 am the Cultural Arts Interest Group will be attending.  The event includes twenty-two professionally-acclaimed plein air artists who will paint at the Polasek Museum and at other locations throughout Winter Park and Orlando. Art lovers are invited to watch the artists at work and attend free painting demonstrations. This is free and open to the public for the museum and grounds.  The website is Home – Winter Park Paint Out.  Perhaps a Park Avenue lunch afterward for those interested.  Please RSVP to Susan Gregory at shgregory1955@att.net no later than Saturday, April 19, so she can make a reservation for lunch
