Kolokee Trail Hike

The Hiking Interest Group will be hiking the Kolokee Trail in Geneva on Friday, February 28. This 5.0-mile loop trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route and takes about 1 1/2 hour to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and walking, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring.

The American Hiking Society has named Little Big Econ State Forest one of the country’s most family-friendly hikes. This is a well-maintained trail in Little Big Econ State Forest with lots of opportunities to view wildlife. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended.

If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Kathy Blackburn at kblackburn27@comcast.net or text 407-443-7231 for more information.
