ALL FIRED UP, THE ART OF PORCELAIN PAINTING
FEATURING CAROL PICKLER, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
Please join us for a special artist talk and demonstration on Saturday, September 6 at 10 AM by our friend and fellow member, Carol Pickler, who will be featured in the “All Fired Up: The Art of Porcelain Painting” exhibition at the Albin Polasek Museum located at 633 Osceola Avenue in Winter Park. Carol is an extremely talented artist in porcelain painting which has been practiced for more than 2000 years. Although it is not as well-known as it once was, the practice continues today using the same techniques and materials.
Our event on Saturday, September 6 will include both the artist talk and demonstration along with a special tour of the historic Capen House. After the presentation and tour, we plan to go to lunch at a local Winter Park restaurant.
The cost is $10 for museum admission to be paid at the door. To register, please contact Sue Chapman, text 408-832-9597 or email ChapmanSue@Yahoo.com
Space is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.
